This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
